Project story · Kitchen & boot room
The Onyx Kitchen
& Bootroom.
Backlit green onyx, bespoke oak details and a hidden boot room.
The material story
The onyx splashback forms a focal point, with painted limestone, dark oak and concrete-effect cabinetry finishes bringing different textures into the room.
Crafted around the client
A bespoke oak bench and wine rack were handcrafted in our workshop. Mirrored upper cabinets reflect the room, while a concealed door leads to the boot room.
Everyday practicality
The specification brings together Neff appliances, a Fisher & Paykel cool drawer and a Blanco sink and tap system. Storage and adjoining spaces form part of the design, alongside the finishes.

Novus. The handleless foundation.
Novus cabinetry gives the Onyx Kitchen & Bootroom its handleless lines, allowing the stone, curves and lighting to lead the room.
Look closer: a feature with a practical setting.
The illuminated focal point
Backlit green onyx gives this kitchen its identity. The surrounding limestone, dark oak and concrete-effect cabinet finishes provide a quieter setting for the stone.
The rooms behind the room
The concealed boot-room entrance and bespoke oak bench show how useful adjoining spaces and joinery can be considered alongside the main kitchen.
