Together since the showroom opened
Beautiful stone.
Trusted hands.
A relationship built over decades of projects, from my own kitchen to our most intricate studio details.

From the beginning.
We’ve worked with Quality Marble from the day our showroom opened. They’ve been alongside us through so many kitchens, different materials and increasingly adventurous details.
I always say that, in all that time, I can remember just two little installation issues: one in our showroom and one in my own kitchen back in 2004. That’s my recollection of our work together, and I think it’s pretty good going.
That trust matters when you’re asking a team to turn a particular vein around a corner, make a mitred stone leg or bring a complicated shape together. The design and the fabrication have to work hand in hand.
The work, up close
It’s in the meeting
of the surfaces.
The Panda White island and the soapstone sink surround in our concept kitchen show why these relationships matter. A worktop is one part of a complete composition: the profile, the vertical faces, the corners and the way the stone sits with the furniture.
A family craft
Carlo’s story.
Carlo Fossaluzza established Quality Marble in 1980. His father and both grandfathers worked in marble, terrazzo and mosaics—a family craft carried into a business that now works from Enfield.
Today, the team’s work includes sourcing, planning slab layouts, fabrication and installation. It is that combination of material knowledge and making that helps us develop a design beyond the ordinary.

Star Galaxy.
Still going strong.
In 2004, I chose Star Galaxy for my own kitchen. I loved the dark surface and those little gold-coloured flecks. Twenty-two years later, it is still going strong.
I also remember a particularly ambitious project with a 4.2-metre piece of stone, sourced and fabricated by Quality Marble and delivered on a HIAB. We had it fitted in one piece. It was enormous, and it has stayed with me.
It took careful planning. For an installation like that, the stone, the structure, the access and the lifting arrangements all have to be considered together. But it captures something of the ideas we’ve explored over the years.
