Studio stories / Rugby, Warwickshire
Quiet surfaces.
Details to discover.
A bathroom display is a chance to try an idea, open a door and feel how something works.
This setting brings together Apavisa Travertino, Geberit Acanto and a few details we love to use in our clients’ homes. Look closer: there is more here than first meets the eye.
Follow the details ↓01 / The foundation
A calm backdrop.
A crisp white detail.
Apavisa’s Travertino collection gives us the layered appearance of travertine in a manufactured tile. We keep this tile in stock, so you can explore the surface in our studio and talk to us about your own project.
Against it, Geberit Acanto furniture in white glass feels clean and luminous. The contrast lets each finish have its moment, with dark fittings giving the room definition.
Our Geberit story →02 / Light, line and edge
A niche worth
looking into.
The long recess gives bottles a place of their own, while concealed lighting picks out the movement in its surface. It becomes a feature that carries your eye across the shower.
The edges matter just as much. We used Schlüter tile-edge profiles, with the angled detail Lisa chose to give the exposed tile edges a neat finish.
The closer viewDepth, light and a fine edge: small decisions that become part of the whole room.
03 / Team favourites
A detail you
can feel.
AXOR ShowerSelect ID
This is one the whole team loves. It is the feel of the control as much as its appearance: the finely grooved dial, the precise movement and the satisfying feedback as you turn it.
Developed with design studio PHOENIX, ShowerSelect ID combines a central temperature dial with push-operated Select paddles. AXOR describes both tactile and audible feedback—a lovely detail to experience in person.
For Lisa, it recalls the pleasure of using a beautifully engineered Bang & Olufsen control. We enjoy finding a place for it wherever it suits a project’s design and specification.

04 / Everyday comfort
Warm towels.
Clean lines.
Three separate ThermoSphere electric towel bars make a simple rhythm on the wall. Here, matt black picks up the shower fittings and the fine lines elsewhere in the display.
The horizontal collection comes in a choice of finishes, including brass, stainless steel, matt black and matt white, with different profiles and mounting options.
We have also used ThermoSphere towel bars in the Woodbridge principal bathroom, bringing this practical detail into another very different palette.

One door.
Two different views.
We use mirrored glass throughout the studio to reflect light, extend a view and make furniture feel less imposing. Here, the tall mirror brings the pattern of the floor and another perspective of the bathroom into the room.
Open it and the purpose changes: neatly arranged shelves keep the things you need close by. The photographs show both sides of that idea.
