Woodbridge principal suite · Japandi bathroom
Texture. Light.
Room to exhale.
The brief was a luxurious Japandi bathroom. Maja brought it to life through a rich, balanced palette: warm wood tones, deep charcoal, tactile surfaces and light that traces the room.

A quiet mood.
A wealth of detail.
For the Woodbridge principal suite, Maja developed the colour palette and brought its different textures together. The result feels warm and enveloping, with the pale bath and basins standing out against darker furniture and walls.
Japanese influences appear in the attention to bathing, the restrained shapes and the space given to each part of the daily routine. The luxury comes through the whole composition: how the surfaces meet, how the light falls and how the room feels to spend time in.
02 / The palette
Different textures.
One conversation.
Wood tones soften the dark ribbed backdrop. The smooth white basins bring a gentle curve to the long run of Duravit furniture, while the circular hansgrohe mirrors repeat that softer shape above.
Light beneath the furniture and along the ceiling reveals the depth of the finishes. Warm metallic details carry the palette into the shower.

03 / The shower
A place to pause.
A wedi bench gives the shower a place to sit, while a recessed niche keeps everyday bottles close at hand. The Matki gold-mesh screen adds another layer of texture, alongside the darker hansgrohe fittings.
The wood-toned floor and warm lighting continue through the space, connecting the shower to the rest of the suite.
04 / Everyday comfort
Considered to the last detail.
The Duravit SensoWash shower toilet has its own private alcove. A lit niche and soft perimeter lighting make this smaller space part of the same design story.
