Our brand family

A story that began in 1999.

From our very first Twyford displays to the Geberit room settings we love today, this is a relationship that has grown with us.

Twyford, Mira & a little Peach Melba

Learning, building
and building lasting friendships.

Our Geberit story really begins in 1999, when we were setting up our very first showroom. I was around twenty, completely self-taught and learning as I went: building my knowledge, making contacts and finding contacts I could turn to.

One of those contacts was Lynn Dale, our wonderful contact at Twyford. Lynn helped me bring that first showroom together, with Twyford bathrooms and Mira showers. I’m fairly sure there was even a Peach Melba corner suite in there. That memory still makes me smile.

Lynn became such an important part of our journey. She shared her knowledge, helped us develop our displays and gave me the kind of practical support that means so much when you’re finding your feet.

Seeing the possibilities

What happens behind the wall matters.

Alongside our Twyford displays, we were using Geberit from very early on, specifying concealed cisterns and frames for wall-hung loos. They feel familiar now, but I remember when they could raise quite a few eyebrows.

Some installers were much more comfortable with the way they had always done things. I used to joke that I could write a book about those conversations and the occasional “computer says no” response to putting things behind the wall.

For me, the possibilities were clear: cleaner lines, a clear floor beneath the WC and a bathroom that had been thought through from the inside out. The practical details you don’t see are every bit as important as the beautiful things you do.

Twyford · Keramag · Geberit

A relationship
that grew with us.

In 2015, Geberit acquired the Sanitec group, which included Twyford and Keramag. Keramag’s ceramics and furniture later became part of the Geberit brand in 2019. For us, it brought together names we already knew and trusted.

When we undertook our major studio refurbishment in 2017, Lynn was incredible once again. She helped us create the bathroom section with the individual room settings you see today, bringing Geberit into the space in a thoughtful, tasteful way.

Lynn has since retired, but that personal support has continued. Sophie and Sonia are now our wonderful contacts, bringing so much enthusiasm, care and practical help. It’s that personal support that makes a lasting partnership.

Switzerland & Germany

Getting to know
the team and the process.

I’ve been fortunate to visit Geberit’s headquarters in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, and its production site in Pfullendorf, Germany. Those trips are such a valuable way to understand how a manufacturer works.

Seeing the care that goes into production gives you a different appreciation of a product. Geberit has extensive in-house manufacturing, including the precision moulds used to make plastic components. There is a huge amount of knowledge behind the details we specify every day.

Today, we work with Geberit across sanitaryware, bathroom furniture, mirrors and the concealed systems behind the wall. My confidence comes from years of using the products, knowing the team and experiencing the support and aftercare.

See it, use it, explore it

Part of everyday life
in our studio.

You’ll find Geberit throughout our Rugby studio, in our room settings and in our own guest restroom. Our working Geberit AquaClean Mera shower toilet is available to try in the guest restroom, the first door on your right as you enter Melbros. You can explore more AquaClean models upstairs in the Kuche & Bagno studio.

It’s a chance to look at the furniture, understand the concealed systems and see how the pieces come together in a complete room.

From those first displays in 1999 to the studio we have today, this relationship has been built on shared knowledge, personal support and products I feel confident recommending. That’s why Geberit is one of our chosen brand families.
