Design with a personal connection.
Meeting the designers, trying the showers and bringing those discoveries home: my relationship with AXOR has always been about more than a catalogue.
In Lisa’s words
The teams behind the products.
AXOR and hansgrohe have been part of my working life for many years. As sister brands within the Hansgrohe Group, they offer different ways of thinking about water, and AXOR’s designer collaborations have given me some particularly memorable experiences.
On an AXOR visit with my mum, I met Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren from the Swedish design studio Front. The photograph of us together at AXOR WaterDream is a lovely reminder of that experience, made all the more special by sharing it with my mum.
Front’s WaterDream installation brought the workings of a shower into view: exposed copper pipes, valves and funnel-shaped showerheads. It celebrated the practical components that are usually hidden behind the wall, and helped inspire AXOR ShowerProducts designed by Front.
Those visits bring the work to life. You meet the designers behind an idea, then return to the studio with a much more personal understanding of it.
The design that surprised me
A lampshade.
And a remarkable shower.
The AXOR LampShower, developed with Nendo, the studio led by Oki Sato, combines light and water in a form that feels closer to a pendant lamp than a conventional shower head.
I tried it at Showerworld in the Hansgrohe Aquademie in the Black Forest. I loved the way it looked, but wondered what it would be like to use. It was incredible. That opportunity to experience it myself is exactly why I value these visits.
The same curiosity runs through AXOR’s collaborations with designers such as Philippe Starck and Front. My role is to help you find the idea that belongs in your room, then make the proportions, finishes and practical specification work together.
Always looking, always learning
From Milan back to Rugby.
I regularly visit the major European design fairs, including Salone del Mobile.Milano and ISH in Frankfurt, to keep exploring new ideas and meeting the designers behind them.
In April 2026, Polly joined me in Milan. We visited the exhibitions and met the AXOR team. Salone brings together EuroCucina, for kitchens, and the International Bathroom Exhibition, also known as Salone Internazionale del Bagno.
hansgrohe and AXOR have also supported Revealed, our design magazine, with features every year since its first edition in 2013. These relationships have grown alongside our own story.
AXOR in our projects
The detail, in context.
A private spa in Weybridge.
AXOR brassware sits alongside paired TOTO basins, veined surfaces and mirrored storage. The master bathroom brings AXOR, TOTO, Sunshower, Vogue and Matki into one complete design.
Seeing the fittings in a finished room makes their scale, finish and relationship to the surrounding materials much easier to understand.

Water, in a working room.
Our working AXOR shower setting brings together overhead showering, controls, light and the surrounding surfaces. It sits within our wider approach to bathing and wellbeing, alongside the TOTO Flotation Tub and Sunshower.
Come and see how it all works together. Ask to include the AXOR shower in your appointment, and we will confirm the demonstration available for your visit.
