Child’s Play

Room to grow.

Two children's bedrooms with individual identities, considered storage and places to study, accompanied by three en-suite bathroom settings. Pale blue fitted furniture and a playful boxing mural give one room its character; the other pairs a deep blue wall with white furniture and space for music.

01 / Individual personalities

Two bedrooms.
Two worlds.

One room brings pale blue furniture and a playful boxing mural together with a desk, shelving and a place to sleep. The other uses a deeper blue, white furniture and a corner for music.

Storage belongs to the composition: wardrobes, drawers and study space sit comfortably alongside the things that make each room personal.

02 / Beyond the bedroom

Bathrooms of their own.

The en-suite rooms introduce wall-hung furniture, glass shower panels and simple tiled surfaces. Each has a different arrangement, carrying the same attention to everyday use into the smaller spaces.

The original project story

PROJECT BRIEF

This project entailed the refurbishment of the bedrooms and en-suites of the three children of a family in Warwickshire.

All three children wanted their own stamp on their bedroom including their interests in music and sport while keeping things classy so they won't look dated as the child grows up.

Meanwhile the beautifully specified en-suites mean that everyone in the family can enjoy their time in the bathrooms in absolute luxury.
