Ca’ Pietra · Tiles & natural materials
Character underfoot.
Possibility everywhere.
From generous porcelain surfaces to a beautifully textured herringbone brick floor. Materials that can set the tone for a whole home.
A sense of scale
Let the surface
shape the room.
I love the way a generous tile can change the feel of a space. The pattern has room to unfold, while the arrangement of joints becomes part of the architecture.
Ca’ Pietra gives us another rich collection to explore, including large format porcelain alongside natural stone and smaller decorative pieces. Muscat Porcelain, shown here, is one example: a satin marble-effect tile available in a 120 × 60 cm format.
For a kitchen, bathroom or a whole-house refurbishment, we would look at the format in relation to the room, the light and the adjoining materials, then choose the finish and layout around how you will use the space.

A floor with
a story to tell.
We have been helping our client at Grayson Cottage with a whole-house refurbishment. One of my favourite details is the wonderful herringbone brick floor we recently sourced through Ca’ Pietra.
It is the sort of choice that makes me excited about a project: a floor with texture, pattern and character, considered as part of the home as a whole.
I am looking forward to sharing photographs and telling more of the Grayson Cottage story. For now, it is a lovely example of why I want to showcase the specialist materials we can help our clients find.
The Grayson Cottage photographic story will follow. The Ca’ Pietra images elsewhere on this page are collection inspiration.
Texture, pattern & the unexpected
The details that
make it yours.
Large format is only part of the conversation. Ca’ Pietra’s collections also take us into terracotta, limestone and marble, decorative ceramics and mosaics.
A herringbone layout brings rhythm to a floor. A small glazed tile can catch the light beautifully. A more unusual shape or a natural variation in colour can become the detail you remember about a room.
These are materials to see and feel as part of a scheme. We can help you explore samples, proportions and laying patterns, then check the proposed product’s suitability and care requirements for its intended setting.
