This beautiful project was for clients Dave & Michelle in Buckinghamshire and included the installation of a new kitchen within a newly-formed extension.
Having recently downsized, our clients wanted to invest in a fantastic living space with the new extension replacing an old conservatory to create a spacious open plan living space to include the kitchen.

This Kuche & Bagno kitchen includes a number of high-end Siemens appliances and with our client already fans of the Siemens brand, it was an obvious choice. The Hollow Wood kitchen includes a new Siemens Venting Induction Hob which the clients have already found to be incredibly efficient in removing air borne odours and steam before entering the open space, especially when compared to the telescopic hood in their previous kitchen. Plus its a really neat installation!
Neon Lights A Quooker Hot Tap installed into the solid Silestone worktop means no kettle to help de-clutter the work surfaces while the clients installed a unique pink neon sign on the kitchen wall to create a real talking point for visiting family and friends.
'Ayuntamiento' is a fun word to say in Spanish (meaning Town Hall!) and has significance with Michelle recently learning to speak the language. Michelle's love of neon lights and flamingo lamps led to the bespoke sign installation.

NOTES FROM THE DESIGNER HANNAH DAVIDSON
Having worked with Dave on various projects, it was fantastic to be involved and help in his and Michelle's own personal project. There's some really neat details in this kitchen which I love including the special groove in the worktop under the seated area to allow for a glowing LED strip and the mirror cladding to cleverly disguise the stair bulkhead. Although Dave and Michelle made a concerted effort to de-clutter following the downsize, storage was critical within the kitchen which is why we specified handy pull-out larder cupboards as well as cleverly hiding the freestanding laundry items and bin using 'magic' hinges. We also included a bespoke bookshelf to fit in with the bulkhead and also 'floated' the bank of units housing the fridge/freezer and ovens to create the feeling of space. We achieved a super-sized island width by using the slabs of Dekton and suede finish Silestone in the opposite direction.
