We always love to work for this repeat client who had the need to form a new additional bathroom in their rural barn conversion in the heart of Warwickshire.
It was important to retain some of the beautiful original features including wooden beams and high ceilings but we always had to find practical solutions to house a Saniflo macerator to take away shower, basin and soil pipe wastes. The client also wanted to accommodate a worksurface in the bathroom as well as a large shower and this was all achieved with an extremely luxurious feel.
The mosaic brick-type muretto tiles which clad the shower enclosure and the basin unit add a real depth and touch of quality.
MAXIMISING THE SPACE
A Saniwall pro gave us the flexibility to house the macerator and also wall hang the WC pan.A removable glass panel allows full access but doesn’t compromise the design in anyway.
We created a bespoke mosaic recessed pocket counter top to sit a Duravit washbowl on which allows for additional counter space but only protrudes into the room by a fraction of its actual size giving a sense of spaciousness. WE utilised the stud wall to house an integrated mirror cabinet for storage.
